Ready! Get Set! Go! It is time to start your food storage program. The theme for this year's program is Building your Personal Ark...that is what is going to make this fun. With our suggestions, YOU can develop a program that will work for YOUR family. This month's FHE suggestion is to read the story of Noah found in Genesis 6. Watching a video, telling the story or having your children act out the story are all great ways to share the story. During the lesson emphazise the following points:
Set a goal as a family to be completely prepared one year from today. Or a goal that you and your family feels is reasonable and obtainable.

Water Storage
Hello Everyone,
December is coming to an end...and it is time to think about storage. This month the focus was WATER Storage. There are many ways to do this...just remember to use food grade storage containers. They can be found at Macy's in Roy or on the Emergency Essentials website. Think water...

Dick's Market on Fairfield
Hello Everyone,
Hope you are having a great week...Dick's Market on Fairfield in going out of business as of Dec 31st, 2010. There are a lot of great deals. It may be a little chaotic, but worth the trip. Great place to get items such as paper products and personal products.

December FHE
The Word of Wisdom
Last month you set a time for dinner and you taught your family what a recipe is, this month you discuss with your family what is a balanced meal. This is a good time to discuss the Word of Wisdom with your family.
Share D&C 59:18-19 with your family.
Tell the story of Daniel and his friends refusing to eat the king's meat or drink his wine (Daniel 1:1-20). The Lord told Daniel how to keep his body strong and in 1833 the Lord told Joseph Smith how we are to keep our bodies and minds alert. Read the Word of Wisdom.
Show your family a picture of the Food pyramid http://www.mypyramid.gov/kids/index.html
Discuss the importance of healthy diet and exercise.
